DUBAI (Reuters) – The method of releasing U.S. prisoners held in Iran will take as much as two months, Iran’s International Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kanaani stated on Monday throughout a press convention.
“A selected time-frame has been introduced by related authorities, and it’ll take a most of two months for this course of to happen,” Kanaani stated.
Earlier this month, Tehran and Washington reached an settlement whereby 5 U.S. residents held in Iran could be freed whereas $6bn of Iranian belongings frozen in South Korea could be launched.
