Israel’s training minister has apologised to Ethiopian Israeli schoolgirls whose lecturers mocked them in a WhatsApp group on a college journey.
The women noticed the lecturers messaging one another in a chat group they created known as Black College Journey.
One of many women filmed the chat over a trainer’s shoulder, then shared it on social media, calling the lecturers “a shame”.
The lecturers concerned have been suspended and the incident is being investigated.
There are about 150,000 residents of Ethiopian origin in Israel, the primary of whom arrived in sizeable numbers in a sequence of high secret Mossad-led operations within the Nineteen Eighties.

Israeli Schooling Minister Yoav Kisch additionally denounced the lecturers.
