Fourteen individuals died in a Saturday aircraft crash in Northern Brazil, authorities introduced.

“I deeply remorse the loss of life of the 12 passengers and two crew members, victims of the aircraft crash that occurred this Saturday, in Barcelos,” Wilson Lima, the governor of Amazonas, mentioned in a translated post on X, the platform previously referred to as Twitter.

In accordance with The Related Press, the aircraft was an Embraer PT-SOG that had taken off from Manaus, the capital of Amazonas, in Brazil. The aircraft was attempting to land in heavy rain when the crash occurred, in line with native media. The passengers have been Brazilian vacationers headed to fish, experiences mentioned.

The Brazilian Air Pressure despatched groups to the crash web site to gather data and proof to help in future investigations, the air drive mentioned in a press release obtained by The AP.
