Vladimir Putin could have “efficiently” invaded Ukraine if the UK was nonetheless a part of the European Union, Jacob Rees-Mogg has instructed.

When requested by Sophy Ridge on Sky Information about the advantages of Brexit, the Tory MP cited how the UK was “capable of present world management” and maintained that Putin would have been profitable “if the UK had been certain in by the requirement of honest cooperation.”

Mr Rees-Mogg’s feedback echoed these of Boris Johnson, who has beforehand stated that Brexit allowed the UK to “do issues otherwise” with its help to Ukraine.
