Stephen Colbert is a comedy icon. Early in his career, he appeared on comedy shows like The Dana Carvey Show and the cult-classic Strangers With Candy. He first rose to fame as a correspondent on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, which eventually led to his spin-off The Colbert Report. On the spin-off, Stephen satirized conservative political pundits and news discussion shows, with a hilarious character, who was also named Stephen Colbert. After almost 10 years, The Colbert Report came to an end in 2014, and Stephen took over hosting duties of The Late Show on CBS. Sadly, CBS announced The Late Show will conclude in May 2026.
Outside of his entertainment career, Stephen is a family man. He’s been married to his wife, Evelyn McGee-Colbert, since 1993, and they have three kids together.
