Oscar-winning actor George Clooney has one heck of a summer home. Known as “Villa Oleandra,” this gorgeous manor is located on the banks of Lake Como in Laglio, Italy. Clooney reportedly spotted it from afar during a motorcycle trip through the Alps – and immediately approached the owner to buy it. At $100 million, it’s easily one of the most expensive slivers of celebrity real estate on the planet.

But Clooney’s gone even further, investing millions into renovating the interior. Much of the original 18th-century-era architecture remains intact, though. Shortly after buying it in the early 2000s, Clooney went ahead and bought the villa next door, too. The two mansions are connected by the Riva Soldano bridge, with the lake running below.
