GENEVA, Feb 27 (Reuters) – The United Nations Human Rights chief Volker Turk warned on Monday that human rights features made in latest many years have been being reined again and even reversed, citing Russia’s “mindless” invasion of Ukraine as a present instance of oppression.
“A lot of the progress revamped many years is being reined again and even reversed in some components…,” Excessive Commissioner Turk mentioned in a speech on the opening day of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva attended by greater than 100 ministers and heads of state.
