Andrew Tate, a self-described "success coach" who has been accused of giving
what many believe to be misogynistic advice has been barred off Instagram as well as Facebook.
A spokesperson from Meta who owns Instagram and Facebook confirmed to NBC News on Friday that Tate's official accounts
on social media platforms them violating the company's rules against dangerous people and organizations. The spokesperson also said that the ban is for life.
The ban comes after an online campaign to remove Tate and his impact on his predominantly young audience has been a source of issue for parents as well as educators.
Prior to this ban being lifted, Tate had 4.7 million followers on Instagram.
