The Oscar winner will return to her role in the film as actor Trevor Slattery in Marvel's Wonder Man project on Disney+, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

The possible series that the news channel THR confirmed was in the works during June is centered on one of Marvel's most enduring characters, Simon Williams/Wunderman.

The character was first introduced by 1964's Marvel Comics, initially as the villain, but then changed to a hero character during the 70s. 

Wonder Man was a founding part of the West Coast Avengers in the 1980s, while Williams worked as a stuntman and actor.

Wonder Man will be Kingsley's fourth appearance as a character in his role in the MCU following his scene-stealing turn of 2013.

Iron Man 3 and a sequel shorter film and the previous year's Shang-Chi and Legend of the Ten Rings.

The director of the latter, Destin Daniel Cretton, is co-creator as well as the executive producer for Wonder Man, alongside director and author Andrew Guest ( Brooklyn Nine-Nine).

Then, he was as a character in 2014's Marvel movie "All Hail King" in which the character was released from prison by one of the Ten Rings organization before turning back for Shang-Chi.
