Jets head coach Robert Saleh said Chris Streveler was the recipient of "one of the greatest preseasons in the history of football."

Streveler was an undisputed preseason hero during his time in New York, completing 72.7 percent of his passes to gain 277 yards

and five touchdowns and an impressive 120.9 passer rating. He also was leading the team in rushing.

He orchestrated three comeback victories and threw game-winning goals in the 16th and 22nd seconds left. He also led the team to victory after a deficit of 16-3 at the match.

Streveler definitely was able to be eligible at the very least on practice squads, but Streveler was not on the Jet's 53-player roster.

The Jets have informed Streveler of his deportation on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
