Just a few minutes ago, all reports linking DeAndre Ayton with the Indiana Pacers were validated.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Pacers have reached an agreement for an all-year, $133 million maximum offer form with Ayton.

The Phoenix Suns have 48 hours to decide on Ayton. They could either accept the deal or allow him to go for nothing.

Prior to this announcement, Ayton was being mentioned in a potential deal to sign and trade.

There was speculation that the Suns could find a way to purchase Myles Turner in exchange for the Pacers.

In the 2021-22 season, Ayton scored an average of 17.2 per game in addition to 10.2 rebounds per game.

He was the previous No. 1 pick and was hoping he'd be given a major boost during the offseason.

Ayton eventually fell out of favor after a rocky run in Phoenix in the postseason.

He was dropped at the end of Game 7 during the Western Conference semifinals for "internal reasons."

If the Suns don't meet Ayton's request from the Pacers and the Pacers, he'll be given an opportunity to start over in Indiana.
