Former No. Chiney Ogwumike, former No. 1 overall pick, is an athlete who has managed to start a successful media career and still be active.

She is a Los Angeles Sparks forward and one of ESPN's brightest young talents. However, her current contract with the network expires this summer so she is poised to leave for a media-free agency.

Ogwumike already has interest from all corners of the business, which is no surprise.

The 30-year-old is not only the first black woman to host an ESPN radio show, but she has also been a regular on "NBA Today" as a cohost of "SportsCenter".

Rumors have circulated that Ogwumike might join close friend Emmanuel Acho at FOX Sports. There are also Amazon, Hulu, and Netflix in the mix.

Front Office Sports says that ESPN is ready to fight for its media star. The "Worldwide Leader", however, has seen a lot of talent go under the hood over the years.
