New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll revealed on Monday who will be the play-caller for his team this season.
Kafka played for the Giants during the preseason, however, there was suspicion that Daboll who also called games during his time as
coordinator of the Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator was likely to take on this role once the actual games started.
It's not the case, as Daboll explained today, and it appears that the majority of people on the team aren't shocked about the choice.
"Mike Kafka being the play caller was the worst kept secret of the offseason," according to Talkin Giants podcast host Bobby Skinner.
"My take: Kafka was never leaving Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid and KC if he wasn't calling plays," said ESPN's Jordan Raanan.
