Hailey Bieber is being sued for her brand new skincare line, Rhode. She has recently launched her brand new business, named after her mother.

her middle name, and has a range of carefully selected skincare essentials that have been created with intent.

A few days after the launch another company bearing a similar name has been now suing the brand and her for copyright infringement.

The first time it was published by the TMZ the fashion company Rhode has accused the brand of copyright infringement.

They claim it believes that Hailey's line "could easily wash away all the hard work they've put into their brand."

Their owners Purna Khatau and Phoebe Vickers, who co-founded Rhode NYC in 2013, are also saying that her "Rhode" logo looks very similar to the logo they use.

"She did this despite knowing of Rhode and its prior rights," Lisa T. Simpson, the lead counsel for litigation at Rhode spoke to.

"It's an unfortunate incident. Wedo, of course, knows the reason Hailey would like to make her middle name her own brand.

They further stated, "What Ms. Bieber is doing is harming a minority co-owned business that two women have painstakingly built into a growing, global brand."

Rhode the founders Khatau and Vickersadded the fact that they had been "forced" to file the lawsuit "in order to protect our business."

"While a global brand, we are still a young and growing company, and we cannot overcome a celebrity with Hailey's following using our company's name to sell related products," they stated.
