Harry Styles made fun of the idea that he was spitting at Chris Pine during his Wednesday night show at New York City.

"This is our 10th show at Madison Square Garden, it is wonderful, wonderful, wonderful to be back here,"

the British performer addressed his fans during the opening of the show "Love On Tour: Madison Square Garden Is Harry's House" show.

"I just popped over to Venice to spit on Chris Pine but fear not, we're back!" The audience was roaring and cheering him on while he held onto his guitar.

Fans have been raving about Styles reportedly spilling on Pine's lap in the viral clip that "Don't Worry Darling" co-stars at the Venice Film Festival premiere Monday.

In the video, the actor-turned-singer, who was 28 was seated in a seat that was empty beside Pine who was seated next to Director Olivia Wilde on his other side.

Following when the "Late Night Talking" singer appeared to point his tongue at the actor who is 42, Pine was frozen mid-clap, and stared into his lap with an smile, then laughed at himself.
