The CEO and President of the new company of Warner Bros. Discovery, David Zaslav, came under fire over

the cancellation of the upcoming Batgirl film, which was scheduled to air on HBO Max. Zaslav has since said that he's looking to put the

emphasis back on the quality of the film, not quantity. In addition, it was thought that the movie was not up to par in terms of quality.

In a surprising twist of fate, it is revealed that Cavill is actually trying to get him, and this is according to a report by Fandango's Erik Davis.

According to the report (via ComicBookMovie), WB has reached out to the main character of The Witcher but to nothing.

He stated: "I've heard a story that Warner Bros. asked Henry to return, but he doesn't want to go through with it and he's not keen to return.

on the other hand, this is probably one of the reasons why the studio was forced to make two non-faceless Superman cameos rather than changing the actor.

It appears that the odds of getting to see Cavill come back to his breakthrough role are becoming less likely every day, which is really a shame.

In the meantime, Superman is expected to appear as a guest as well in Black Adam which is scheduled to be released theatrically on the 21st of October 2022.
