It's because she was incorrectly identified by Twitter by the name Beyonce. Here's what occurred: "The Morning Show" actor Choni Francis shared a clip that
included a mask-wearing Cox taking part in a tennis game and also tweeted the caption that said it could be Queen Bey.
Some fans started to tweet that it wasn't actually the famous singer, but rather Cox who rose to notoriety as one of the actors from "Orange Is the New Black."
Cox was the first to grab it and shared the post to her authentic Instagram accounts, writing "Not me getting mistaken for @Beyonce
"These tweets are funny as hell. Enjoy!!! Go @serenawilliams #GOAT #SerenaWilliams #Beyonce," her caption continued.
Francis took a deep breath in a bid to appeal to Bey Hive, as Beyonce's large and loyal fan base is well known.
"14 years of comedic creativity and one tweet, and this how the #BeyHive finally knows of my existence," tweets the comedian. "I am one of you. accept me.."
