LSU Football Star Reportedly Suffers injury

The most popular offensive tackle Maison Smith is reportedly suffering an injury that ended the season.

LSU soccer Insider Julie Boudwin is reporting Maison Smith suffered an ACL tear and is expected to miss the remainder of 2022's season because of it.

And to make matters worse it is believed that Smith sustained the injury when he was celebrating a play.

A freak injury will hinder Smith for the remainder of the year. "It's very terrible that this is the case for the #LSU along with Maason Smith...

The star defensive lineman will miss the remainder of the season due to a ruptured ACL. The surgery is expected to take place in the next few weeks according to several source," said Boudwin.

It appears to be the way that Maason Smith tore his ACL on his knee in the left. After a solid performance from LSU's defense LSU defensive line, Smith hops up and is landed on his left knee.

He's clearly suffering from pain following his landing. "LSU DT Maason Smith appeared to have suffered an injury after celebrating this play," ESPN reports.

An unlucky injury that is a major loss for LSU defense. It's been a difficult 24-hour period at Baton Rouge.
