Meghan Markle might not be a royal in the US but she looked like "a princess" when she dined at the trendy eateries Locanda Verde alongside Prince Harry on Monday night, according to a spy.
She asked the staff in Locanda Verde to have the entire outdoor courtyard - which can hold 50 people - to her and four guests including Prince Harry, a source informed Page Six.
The owners explained to her that the space was reserved for a birthday celebration for 15 people.
They did not want to move the guests from the space ... They informed her that she'd have to go into the room, which she did.
The source pointed out that even though there was a lot of security in the establishment," duke and duchess Sussex
were not in a private room. "[They were] sitting at the center of the bustling restaurant, as the eyewitness reported.
Other patrons who dined at the NYC popular restaurant were told by the Sussexes security staff that they'd be "asked to be removed" should they attempt to take photos of the royal couple.
Reps for the restaurant as well as Markle did not respond to her request for seating.
