Natalie Portman opens up about why she felt like an outsider while filming her new movie Thor, Love & Thunder.

Jane, the 41-year-old actress, will be returning to the movie as Jane. In a new interview, she explained why, despite having been part of two Thor movies, she felt out of place in this film.

Natalie spoke with Vogue Australia about feeling like an outsider because her costars, Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, and director Taika Waititi had all worked together in Ragnarok.

It's strange to be familiar with something, but still feel like you're the unknown child," she said. "Chris, Tessa, and Taika had collaborated

on Ragnarok and it was so successful that it felt like they were all reuniting. I was the newbie trying to figure out how I fit in.

Natalie continued: "But also they are just the nicest people. Also, Chris and Tessa know each other so well from previous works together and I had also done Thor movies two times before.

There was a lot of familiarity and comfort in the world, but it was also a strange mix of being both the veteran and the novice.

I was there from the beginning. You're also an outsider in this group.
