Shania Twain is proud to give her beloved gown a second chance! On Wednesday, the 15th annual Academy of Country Music Honors in Nashville,

Tennessee, and was thrilled to see Kelsea Ballerini dressed in the dress she wore to the GRAMMY Awards in 1999.

"I am absolutely amazed," Twain told ET's Cassie DiLaura of seeing Ballerini wearing the dress. "... She's amazing. She is an absolute beauty.

It's extremely flattering to see her wearing the gown, and that she actually would like it. I said, 'I'm hoping the dress isn't too dusty from being in the [GRAMMY] Museum ].'"

Twain was seen in a long-sleeved white gown in the year she won awards for Best Female Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Song for her track, "You're Still the One."

"It was an unforgettable event for me to attend the Grammys. The dress I wore was a reflection of that moment which is why I'm thrilled to see it come back," Twain said.

"Now it's got a brand new lease on life and is filled with new memories, and it's wonderful to be able to share it with people around the world and with other women.

It was clear that Ballerini wanted to wear the gown. The singer, who is 28 years old, saw the dress as a chance to pay

homage to Mark Twain who is being honored by the ACM Poet's Award at Wednesday's ceremony.
