Will Trump Grant Diddy a Pardon Amid Four-Year Prison Sentence?

Sean “Diddy” Combs was sentenced to 50 months — four years and two months — in prison for his conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. The rapper’s highly publicized trial shocked the nation as some of Diddy’s ex-girlfriends, including Cassie Ventura, provided graphic and emotional testimony about his abuse. However, there is a slim chance that Combs could be granted a pardon by Donald Trump if the president agrees.

One member from Combs’ defense team previously told CNN that a person from his camp contacted the White House regarding a possible pardon. “It’s my understanding that we’ve reached out and had conversations in reference to a pardon,” attorney Nicole Westmoreland said.

Below, find out if Combs will be pardoned by Trump.

Combs was sentenced to four years and two months in prison. Judge Arun Subramanian handed the music mogul his sentence during an October 3, 2025, court hearing, where Combs’ children vouched for his character and asked for clemency.

Combs was convicted of two counts of the Mann Act transportation to engage in prostitution. He was found not guilty on two counts of not guilty on one count of racketeering conspiracy and not guilty on one count of sex trafficking of Ventura.

At the time of publication, there is no guarantee that Combs will be pardoned by the president. However, Trump told reporters on October 6, 2025, that he could “look into” the possibility of pardoning both Combs and Ghislaine Maxwell.
