The 28-year-old singer took to his Instagram stories to announce, “Brianna and me have broken up with [each other] and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart.” He added, “I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways. I am not perfect and never will be. Please respect Brianna’s privacy and space in this and if you have it in your heart, mine too.” This announcement allegedly took Brianna by surprise.
In November 2024, she shared on the “BFFs” podcast that Zach had been controlling in their relationship, specifically mentioning that he disapproved of her 2024 Golden Globes outfit, a sheer, glimmery dress. “So, I went to the Golden Globes, and I posted like a carousel of pictures, and he didn’t like my dress. … He said he didn’t want to date someone that presents themselves that way,” she shared.
