Kelsea Ballerini has become one of country music’s brightest stars since signing with Black River Entertainment at just 19 years old. She broke out with her debut single “Love Me Like You Mean It” in 2014, followed by her first album The First Time in 2015, which produced three hits: “Love Me Like You Mean It,” “Dibs,” and “Peter Pan.”
She went on to release her sophomore record, Unapologetically, in 2017, and was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2019. That same year, she dropped “Homecoming Queen?” as the lead single off her self-titled third album Kelsea (2020), which showcased a more personal and vulnerable side of her songwriting. In 2022, she followed up with Subject to Change.
Kelsea’s personal life has also been in the spotlight. She married fellow country singer Morgan Evans in December 2017, but the pair finalized their divorce in 2022. Since early 2023, she’s been in a high-profile relationship with Outer Banks star Chase Stokes. The couple have weathered breakup rumors, but in August 2025, Chase shut down speculation by sharing a sweet Instagram Story featuring Kelsea’s dog Dibs with a red heart emoji. The two were also spotted dining together in Nashville, confirming they’re still going strong.
