Kevin Spacey is best known as an actor who has appeared in numerous television series and films throughout his nearly 40-year career. Some of his most notable projects include Working Girl, American Beauty, Seven, The Usual Suspects, Pay It Forward, Beyond the Sea, and Recount. Over the years, he earned major accolades for his work, including two Academy Awards, a Tony Award, a BAFTA Award, and a Critics Choice Award.
In 2017, Spacey made headlines after actor Anthony Rapp accused him of sexual assault when Rapp was 14 years old. Several additional allegations followed, all of which Spacey denied. The fallout led to him being fired from House of Cards and replaced in All the Money in the World, with his completed scenes reshot using Christopher Plummer.
In recent years, Spacey has continued facing financial and professional setbacks. In 2025, he revealed that he is homeless, living between hotels and Airbnbs after mounting legal fees and lost income severely impacted his finances. Despite limited work in Hollywood, he has been taking small stage opportunities abroad, including performing a one-man show in Tel Aviv as he attempts to rebuild parts of his career.
