Do Zendaya and Robert Pattinson say, “I do” in A24’s The Drama? Marketed with two of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities, the wedding-based movie takes audiences by surprise, which they knew after watching the trailer. Going into theaters for its April 3, release, everyone is dying to find out what horrible secret Zendaya’s character has been hiding.

Secrets became a major theme for the film’s promotion, with Zendaya being asked about her rumored private wedding to Tom Holland. The Dune actress has, of course, maintained her composure whenever asked about her personal life. But as fans recall, her stylist and friend, Law Roach, spilled the tea earlier this year by claiming that Z and Tom got married.

Yes, but with a ton of drama. Zendaya and Robert’s characters proceed with their wedding, but the reception has no shortage of chaos.

After revealing her deepest, darkest secret to her fiancé and friends, Zendaya’s character, Emma, and Robert’s Charlie struggle with their wedding plans. Awkwardness and estrangement plague the couple, and Charlie has second thoughts about marrying Emma.

To make matters worse, Charlie cheats on Emma with his co-worker, Misha, whom he asks for advice about his predicament with Emma. He kisses Misha and, as things start to escalate, Charlie breaks the kiss.

At the wedding, Emma’s maid of honor, Rachel, delivers a speech oozing with passive aggression since she knows the big secret. Misha also tells Emma that Charlie kissed her, and Misha’s boyfriend, Blake, attacks Charlie.
