Bode Miller, born on October 12, 1977, is a former American alpine ski racer and one of the most accomplished skiers in U.S. history. An Olympic gold medalist, six-time Olympic medal winner and two-time overall World Cup champion, Miller won 33 World Cup races during his career and remains the most successful male American alpine skier ever. Known for his fearless, high-speed style and outspoken personality, he became one of the sport’s biggest stars before officially retiring from competition in 2017.
Since retiring, Miller has remained involved in skiing as a commentator and analyst while focusing on family life. He has been married to former professional beach volleyball player and model Morgan Beck since 2012. Together, they share children Nash, Easton, twins Asher and Aksel, and Scarlet. Miller is also the father of daughter Neesyn “Dace” and son Samuel from previous relationships.
In June 2018, the family suffered a heartbreaking tragedy when their daughter Emeline “Emmy” Grier drowned at 19 months old. In the years since, Bode and Morgan have used their platform to raise awareness about water safety and drowning prevention while continuing to share updates about their family and life together.
