After High School Musical, but before The Descendants, there was one of the best DCOM movies of all-time — Camp Rock! The film catapulted Demi Lovato into Disney superstardom, while cementing the Jonas Brothers – Joe, Nick, & Kevin – into their rightful place as Disney Channel mainstays. Following the romance between an aspiring writer and a mega superstar at the same summer camp, the film also featured Meaghan Martin, Maria Canals-Barrera, Daniel Fathers, and Alyson Stoner.
A lot has changed since June 20, 2008 when the film premiered on the Disney Channel and to this day, it’s the third highest viewed DCOM of all time, behind High School Musical 2 and Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie. For one thing, now all the JoBros are fathers! For another, Demi is married!
