Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have both enjoyed enormously successful careers in their own right — she as a supermodel and cookbook author, and he as an award-winning musician. But together, they’ve built a beautiful family that has only raised their profile as one of Hollywood’s favorite power couples. The pair tied the knot on September 14, 2013, and went on to welcome daughter Luna Simone Stephens in April 2016 and son Miles Theodore Stephens in May 2018.
In September 2020, the couple faced heartbreaking loss when they shared that their son, Jack, had died at 20 weeks of pregnancy. Chrissy later clarified that the miscarriage was actually a life-saving abortion. Two years later, in August 2022, she revealed she was expecting again — and since then, the family has grown with daughter Esti Maxine Stephens, born in January 2023, and son Wren Alexander Stephens, born via surrogate in June 2023.
Most recently, John reflected on his marriage as the couple celebrated 12 years together, telling People, “We’ve grown up together and been through all the highs and lows together.”
He explained, “I think being parents forces you to grow up, and it changes your priorities. But also, [for] all the joy we’ve experienced together, we’ve also had tragedy together and challenges together. I think all of that helps cement the bond and the relationship that you have, because you know you can go through all this together with a partner, and I think that’s really been the story of our relationship.”
