Born Terry Eugene Bollea on August 11, 1953, in Augusta, Georgia, Hulk Hogan rose tointernational fame as one of the most recognizable figures in professional wrestling history. He began wrestling in the late 1970s, but it was during the 1980s, after joining the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE), that he became a household name. With his signature charisma and larger-than-life persona, Hogan helped transform wrestling into mainstream entertainment, headlining multiple WrestleMania events—winning five—and playing a pivotal role in the sport’s explosion in popularity.
Among his many accolades, Hogan made history as the first wrestler to win back-to-back Royal Rumble matches in 1990 and 1991. He later brought his star power to World Championship Wrestling (WCW), where he claimed the World Heavyweight Championship six times and became the face of the groundbreaking New World Order (nWo) storyline.
Outside the ring, Hogan’s personal life also drew attention. He married Linda Hogan in 1983, and the couple had two children together: Brooke and Nick. After their high-profile and contentious divorce in 2009, he married professional makeup artist Jennifer McDaniel in 2010. That marriage ended in 2021 after 11 years. In 2022, Hogan confirmed he was dating Sky Daily, and the two tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2023.
Hulk Hogan died in 2025, leaving behind a legacy as one of wrestling’s most influential and enduring icons.
