Jake Gyllenhaal has had an incredibly varied and successful acting career. After making his debut in 1991’s ‘City Slickers,’ the 40-year-old actor has gone on to great success in a variety of movies like cult-classics such as ‘Donnie Darko,’ critically acclaimed films like ‘Zodiac’ and ‘Brokeback Mountain,’ which netted him an Oscar nomination, and now major blockbusters like ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home.’
Great acting skills must run in his family, as his mom is a producer and his dad is a director. Besides that, his older sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal, also has a successful acting career of her own. Jake also has celebrity godparents, including Paul Newman and Jamie Lee Curtis. Jake has also had a series of plenty of famous girlfriends. Some of his exes, include Kirsten Dunst, Reese Witherspoon, and Taylor Swift. As of 2018, he’s been dating French model Jeanne Cadieu.
