Few musicians have reached the same level of fame, success and notoriety that Michael Jackson did during his lifetime. Beginning his career at an incredibly young age as a member of the Jackson Five, Michael went on to become one of the most successful pop stars in history (earning him the title of “The King of Pop”). After his initial success as a member of the Jackson Five, he had an incredible run as a solo artist, beginning with his album Off The Wall in 1979, followed by his massive success “Thriller,” which was followed by yet another classic “Bad.”
While MJ’s music transcended generations, its impossible to separate him from his family, especially since his early success was in large part due to his collaborations with his brothers. Many of his siblings have had very successful careers in the music industry on their own, some becoming massive pop stars themselves (like Janet Jackson). With the upcoming biopic Michael coming out next year, he and his siblings’ rise to fame will be shown on the big screen.
