Tom Felton is an English actor best known for playing the sly and complex Draco Malfoy in all eight Harry Potter films, from 2001 to 2011. However, his acting career began even earlier, with his film debut in the 1997 movie The Borrowers. During the height of the Harry Potter franchise, Tom kept his focus mostly on the wizarding world, but in the years since, he’s branched out with roles in both film and television while also pursuing a music career as a singer-songwriter.
In a significant development, Felton is set to reprise his role as Draco Malfoy in the Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Starting November 11, 2025, he will make his Broadway debut at the Lyric Theatre in New York City, portraying an adult Draco Malfoy—a father to Scorpius Malfoy—in a 19-week limited engagement through March 22, 2026. This marks the first time an original cast member from the Harry Potter films has joined the stage adaptation. Felton expressed that returning to the role is a “full-circle moment,” as he is now the same age as Draco in the play.
