Dan Aykroyd and his former wife, Donna, got married in 1983 and were together for almost 40 years before announcing a separation in April 2022. Through the years, they have been photographed at various events and outings together. They share three daughters, including Danielle, who was born in 1989, Belle, who was born in 1993, and Stella, who was born in 1998.
The ex-lovebirds first met on the set of Doctor Detroit, and when they announced their separation, they admitted they planned on staying close both professionally and personally.
‘After 39 years as a couple, we are now on separate life paths. We remain legally married, coparents, coworkers and business partners,’ they told ‘People’ in a joint statement. ‘This is our choice in loving friendship.’
