Frances Bean Cobain is the only child of musicians Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, born in August 1992. She was still a toddler when her father died by a self-inflicted gunshot wound in April 1994. Frances was raised by extended family members, including her grandmother, as Courtney struggled with addiction. Courtney even lost custody entirely after she was arrested in 2003. The two eventually mended fences and are now on good terms. Frances controls the publicity rights to her father’s name and image, and she inherited 37% of his estate. She works as a model and visual artist in Los Angeles. Frances was previously married to musician Isaiah Silva from 2014 until their divorce, finalized in 2017. She went on to marry Riley Hawk, son of skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, in October 2023, and the couple welcomed their first child, son Ronin Walker Cobain Hawk, in September 2024.
