Jason Sudeikis has come a long way from his early days doing improv comedy in Kansas City. The actor and comedian first became a household name as a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 2005 to 2013, then built a steady film career with comedies like Horrible Bosses, We’re the Millers, and Hall Pass. But the role that changed everything was Ted Lasso. Jason co-created the Apple TV+ series with Brendan Hunt, Joe Kelly, and Bill Lawrence, and his performance as the lovable American football coach earned him four Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards. Season 4 of Ted Lasso premieres on August 5, 2026, with Ted returning to coach a women’s second-division team. Off screen, Jason is a devoted dad to his two children, Otis and Daisy, whom he shares with ex Olivia Wilde.
