From the ‘Slums Of Beverly Hill’s, to behind bars and beyond, Natasha Lyonne‘s career has taken her far and wide. Born April 4, 1979, she got her start as a teen and quickly became known for her sharp, offbeat comedic style. Her notable ’90s and early 2000s roles include Dennis the Menace (1993), Everyone Says I Love You (1996), Slums of Beverly Hills (1998), But I’m a Cheerleader (1999), the American Pie franchise (1999–2012), Party Monster (2003), and Blade: Trinity (2004).

After a steady run in film, she entered a new chapter on Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black, playing fan-favorite Nicky Nichols. She later solidified her status as a multi-hyphenate with Russian Doll, which she co-created, starred in, wrote, directed, and executive produced, earning multiple Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. In recent years, Lyonne has continued to evolve creatively, starring in Poker Face and taking on more work behind the camera. The mystery series ran for two seasons before ending in 2025, with Lyonne also directing and shaping its creative direction.
