Princess Diana died on August 31, 1997, but her legacy continues. Known forever as the “people’s princess,” the late royal is survived by her sons, Prince Harry (who stepped down from his royal duties in 2020) and Prince William.
Twenty-eight years after Diana’s death, Musee Grevin in Paris, France, unveiled a wax figure, notably wearing her black “revenge dress” that became a staple. Museum officials informed the Associated Press that its director ordered the likeness of the new Diana figure after feeling “underwhelmed” by the figure at London’s Madame Tussauds.
