Among the night’s top nominees are The Lost Boys and Schmigadoon!, which lead all productions with 12 nominations each, while Ragtime follows closely behind with 11 nods. Other major contenders include Titaníque, Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York), Liberation, and The Balusters.
The main Tony Awards ceremony begins at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT and is scheduled to run until 11 p.m. ET. Before the broadcast, viewers can tune in to The Tony Awards: Act One, a live pre-show hosted by Laura Benanti and Tituss Burgess that streams from 6:35 p.m. ET / 3:35 p.m. PT.
