Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman‘s relationship was literally love at first sight. The Devil Wears Prada actress and her American Dreams star husband met at the Palm Springs Film Festival in November 2008. Anne was trying out being single, as she had only just split from her then-boyfriend of four years, Raffaello Follieri, four months prior. Their breakup came shortly before he was arrested for wire fraud.
A mutual friend introduced Anne to Adam, and sparks immediately flew. Anne even told Harper’s Bazaar years later that she instantly knew she was going to marry him one day. Anne asked him out six weeks later, and they went on a trip to New Orleans for their first date. The couple tied the knot four years later, on September 29, 2012, in Big Sur, California.
They’ve since welcomed two sons, Jonathan and Jack, and Anne is currently pregnant and expecting her and Adam’s third child together!
